More like 'disassembled/reassembled version of ID's original Doom code
for the 68040-based NeXT workstation' engine. Emulator my ass! :)

Still, it does look really great for a big hack, and it's a miracle they
got it
working at all. They were either very patient or very very lucky with their
disassembler. I've never had that much luck.

Some of it was converted to 030 assembler, but it's mostly still
disassembled
'C' code from the NeXT.

I managed to get it working with FastRAM after hacking around with the
source
code. I don't know if I still have it though. It's almost playable on the
040 too.
