(large snip)
I have had problems with different types of simms in my Aixit TT fast
ram card. I put a simm of a known size in one of the banks, but the
machine only recognizes it as one of a lesser value. Did not matter
which slot I used in this case. I replaced the suspect simm with its
mate, (I had an 4mb, 2-16mb and a 32mb I was toying with, the 16mb being
the troublesome one. It only seen it as 4mb. I installed its mate
and it worked fine). I didn't do any memory test however, other
than stuffing the ram full of images to see if I could crash it.
Umm, so someone has tried 128mb on the A/B. That may be all the
tempting I need;).
