Hi Petr !
As i said yesterday, i have my doc with me now. So, the explanations
FROM the documentation show the following:
* * * JP1 ( * = pin )
* * * JP2
123
bank 0
============================================
============================================
bank 1
============================================
============================================
jumper positions:
JP1 JP2
2-3 1-2 4 Mb
1-2 1-2 8 Mb
2-3 2-3 16Mb
1-2 2-3 32Mb
ex: JP2 - 2+3 connected
* * * JP1
+++++
* | * * | JP2
+++++
- Bank 0 can work alone, whithout Bank 1
-Bank 1 must be used WITh Bank 0 AND must have the same value as
bank 0. (!!)
Example:
To have 16Mo you can do:
- 16Mb SIMM in the bank 0
- TWO 8Mb SIMMs in the bank 0 and in the bank 1
You cannot get 16Mb in the bank 0 and one of 8Mb in the bank 1.
So, it seems that is not possible to mixed two different SIMMs...
