Kirk to Spock

Now that I have your attention:).

Titan just returned my Apex disk that are now upgraded to V2.41. The
ability to clip an FL* is a very nice improvement. Now all we need is
some sort of compression:). Thanks to Titan for rapid overseas
service.

Anyway, (and I am long winded), I was dreaming of Apex Alpha and
for the heck of it, I launched Apex Media with my NOVA active (knowing
full well what would happen:).

I got to thinking about the Videl blanker option in the TK. I went
back and deselected that option, and rebooted.

Once at the 1024*768 32K desktop the NOVA is set at, I launched Apex
Media again. I reached over to my VGA monitor switch box and selected
the Falcon video position. There, before me, was Apex Media in all of
its glory:).

Everything functioned as normal, except I had problems getting it to
abort loading a rather large flh file. The other trick is when
selecting a file, you have to go back to the NOVA, make the selection,
then switch back to the Videl.

Of course you know what I tried next. I launched Falcon Tripod. Same
results. Capture a 1024*768 24bit image, then quit, go back to the
NOVA and work in a decent video resolution.

The NOVA desktop was froze while Apex was running, but i'm sure that
if you selected return to desktop from within Apex, then went back to
the NOVA, you could leave Apex running while playing with the NOVA
active.

Alternately, I guess if you just had two monitors connected, one Videl
port and one NOVA, you could do the same thing without a switch box.
Now I finally found a use for that SC1224:).

Sorry if this is old news, but I thought it worth mentioning.
