I thought it was meant to be turned off for AB040?
It is an additional fast ram buffer for use by programs other than the
hard disk driver itself, and I beleieve if HDDRIVER creates on that the
AB040 toolkit doesn't know about... it is in danger of being trashed by
the caches.

One reason to run it might be for programs like GEMAR, or possibly CDROM
programs -but I downgraded to V6.13 so I could use GEMAR with it's own
SCSIDRV.PRG driver.
