Hi,

please could anyone tell me the difference between 15 and 16 bpp on NOVA
(32k and 65k colors)? Both the programming and user difference, if
possible. I.e. the most important question: why would one use 32k
colors? Is it faster/more compatible/easier to program than true 16bpp?

BTW, I can't get stable 15/16 bpp resolution with 1 MB DRAM. What's the
suggested VMG parameters for e.g. 800x608x65k? My monitor can handle
50-100 Hz, 30-68kHz. Thanks.

Petr
