The AES allocates a buffer that's about 1/4 of the size of the screen
for saving/restoring backgrounds. If you use a resolution on the Nova
that uses 2Mb, the buffer will be ~500K.

In N.AES you can specify the size of this buffer, I don't think it's
possible on any other AES.
