Play games in a window or on a GFX card

Hi there,

Well I found something quite interresting which I thought could
perhaps be of use for AB040 or GFX card owners who are crazy
like me.

Well the thing I found was about how to play games on a ET4000
GFX card on a ST using PAK030 accelerator and I can't see why it
should not be possible to do the same on a Falcon with Nova
or a AB040 for that matter. You will need a pretty fast computer
and we all have that.

As it all was in german I might have got it all wrong but what
it basicly did was to copy the screen used by the game to the
gfx card. You could setup the how often you wanted to copy
the screen, but 25fps was default and was enough for most games.

Well, if you are already copying the screen why not copy it into
a window as well if you like to?

Maybe this could be an enhancment to Geirs little prog he did for
switching between videl and nova for those who hasn't got a auto
switch?

I guess this could be used for regular AB040 users as well to put
games into a window or something.

Just an idea.....

If someone wants more info on this little prog I can mail the archive
to you. It will only work on ET4000 cards but I guess the same
princip will work on a Nova card as well.
