Since the main problem is interfacing to the hardware, normal documentation
and experience isn't likely to get you very far.
With QLem, I had to dig around a lot in the internals of the operating system.
Fortunately, QDOS fit in 48 kbyte ROM, together with SuperBASIC. The Mac ROMs
are probably at least half a Megabyte...
Anyway, I just thought I should let you all now that I've sent a new letter
to the ShapeShifter author. Hopefully, I'll at least get an answer.
