There has been an Atari Quake for a long time now.
I don't think it was ever compiled for <'040, though. See below.

You don't want to see Quake on an '020.
The lack of a decent FPU on the pre-'040 processors would make that a
painfully slow slideshow.

Even with an '040 it's too slow to be playable and from what I've heard
it's not very nice on the '060 Amigas either.
