Can't you just write a small program that sets the cache-mode on the
Nova VDI? The XMMU-cookie can be used for this, and this is what Geir
Øyvind has done to allow the Nova-card to be used with TK4 (although
he sets the cache-mode on the videomem and not the VDI itself).
If you do this then the cache-mode for the Nova VDI won't be changed
even if you change the "global" cache-mode to copyback.
