I'm pretty sure I have to run that program with the _data_ cache off rather
than the instruction cache, but it has been a while now.
IIRC, the program was a compressed executable and those seldom work on
the AB040 with the instruction cache on. Try unpacking it (using for
example MegaDepak or by hand if necessary).
If I had both the caches on, the game would work, but all mouse movement
tended to be interpreted as keystrokes, causing the game to be unplayable.
I'd guess this is another of those MOVEM vs interrupt problems (if so,
it's probably fixable with some work).
Anyway, Frontier runs very well and _smooth_ here. :-)
