Buffer mod...

Hi everyone

it seems that a lot of people are left in Hollidays.... ;-)
BUT i have a question....WHAT IS THE BUFFER MOD ? i have naturally an AB040, but i didn't know what is the interrest to realize this modification....(I know it is of SCSI. but that'all)

So someone can explains to me ?? (I would like to know because perhaps i have somes troubles with my SCSI, it seems that i have problems to copie somes big files from SCSI CD to HD...I'm not sure).
