I had to close down the sendmail daemon on the list server this morning
since someone was using the machine to send thousands of spam email.
Needless to say, the hard disks were swamped with error returns, so the
whole mail system has been more or less down since Saturday...
I have now changed to another email daemon, which is supposed to block
these kinds of things, and I _think_ things are working again now.
If you've sent anything that hasn't appeared on the list, chances are it
won't unless you resend it.
