SCSI errors

Hi all,

I've been running my Afterburner for a couple of years.
It was set up (after a couple of attempts) by the now defunct
Canadian Computer Direct. According to them, the SCSI bus was
clean when they shipped.

I recently stuck a SCSI drive on there. Thinks look different
than what I was informed of. This is a new IBM 4.5 GB drive.
I have external termination.

On a "treecheck" compare of the same partition of a SCSI disk,
I get about 65 of 2615 files differ. These erros show up when in
any video mode, with or without Nova. On my IDE partition, I get
no differences between files.

In addition, due to a bone-headed idea of mine, I've found
out that my tape archives are not 100% reliable, either (the
tape drive also sits on the SCSI bus). At the moment, I'm
sort of limping along on a damaged MiNT partition - "ash" core
dumps when executing an "if" statement, but "bash" seems to be
doing alright.

Since I didn't install the Afterburner, and assuming that the
system was working fine two years ago, what should I check out
first? One more item to note - the Falcon video output only
has two colors now: blue and black. It's been that way for several
months.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
