Why would you sell your Nova? If you have SCSI problems you should be able to
decrease them with a Nova. The 2 main problems with SCSI errors are caused by
bad hardware design/layout of the Falcon motherboard and to heavy load on the
memory bus. The higher resolution/colour depth you use the more errors you will
get (the Videl will take to many cycles from the memory bus, chooking it). With
a Nova you can turn off the Videl all together and therefor get much more free
bandwidth for your SCSI transfer.
Do you run with the Videl turned off when using the Nova? You can do this with
TK 5.x or using a small program written by someone... Geir?
This will ofcourse not solve all problems, but still its the best you can get.
A Eclipse would ofcourse have the same positive impact on the SCSI transfers.
