I have a Sony 24x slot-in CD-ROM and I have the same problems on the AB as
you have. I needed it in my TT so I never seriously attempted to fix the
problems. However, I know for sure that Geir-Øyvind Vælidalo use a SCSI
CD-ROM on his AB, but he's still using TK 4.09 and possibly a MetaDOS-fix he
wrote himself years ago.
