I know very little about the Nova so I am probably hopelessly wrong
here but I seem to recall that the Nova limits you to 4MB of ST-RAM.

The Nova sort of adds its RAM onto the ST-RAM and the Falcon can't
have more than 14MB so you can't have 14MB ST-RAM, which means
that 4MB is the max.
