I dismantled my Falcon today, and removed all traces of the Nemesis. I
also found the problem, a solder pad on the buffer board was broken,
and the DMA wasn't fed at all! After reparing the buffer card, I reinstalled
it but instead of installing the DMA patch I just repaired the cut track.
This works very well, although I naturally have only tested it in 32MHz.
